Damaged Merchandise

Occasionally a bicycle may be damaged in the shipping process. This may be true even though the exterior of the box may show no damage (placement of a heavier item on your bike may cause fenders and light frames to twist or bend). Damaged shipments must be filed with the carrier. We cannot be responsible for damage caused in the shipping process. Purchasers will be responsible for shipping costs associated with damaged part replacements. If you have any question regarding this issue, please feel free to contact us. For a small fee Just Bicycles will provide our "sleep tight" program, which will assure that your bike, is insured up to $200.00.

If you take out the additional insurance under the sleep tight program your bicycle will be insured up to $200.00. This insurance claim will be assigned to you allowing you to file a claim with the carrier and receive directly the proceeds of such insurance. Just Bicycles will assist you in the claim process but will not otherwise be responsible for shipping damage.

Manufactures Defects

If a product appears to have a manufactures defect; please email us the details along with JPG or GIF pic's. We will respond within 3 days advising you what action the manufacture desires to take. Do not return Items to us without receiving instructions. The manufacture must approve the return of the item where any claim of manufacture defect is made. If an item is to be returned due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the box. The purchaser is responsible for the shipping costs (both ways) associated with any returned item. Just Bicycles is not responsible for manufacture defects. We will be glad to facilitate your claim with the manufacture but manufacture defects are the responsibility of the manufacture. As such, you agree to indemnify Just Bicycles from any such claims.

Return Merchandise Policy

We have the most straightforward return policy possible: Returns only where shipping or manufactures defects as set forth in the return policy. Because our bicycles cannot be re-sold as new once they have been shipped to you we don't offer a return or refund. However, if you want to exchange your bicycle for another bicycle we will entertain such on a case by case basis understanding that you will be responsible for shipping/return of the bicycle you received and shipping of the second bicycle. We also reserve the right to charge an exchange fee valued up to 20% of the value of the bicycle you are exchanging. The bicycle being exchanged must be returned (at your cost) within 10 days and with all unused original packaging and literature materials. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department and the bike must be returned to the shipping address direct by the RMA department (which may be different than the address which the bike shipped to you from). This does not apply to bicycles damaged in shipping or having manufactured defects, which have their own remedy. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written on the box.

Please note that bikes, which are on sale and special promotion bicycles, are not refundable or exchangeable. No exception.

1. Return the item to the address given to you by our RMA department.
2. Write the RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) on the box.
3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We are not liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
4. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 to 21 business days of our receiving your return. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.

Manufactures Warranty

1. Three months for the frame and one month all component joint parts.
2. The manufacture will replace any parts failing during the warranty period. The shipping fee will not be covered by the warranty.
3. Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of the manufacture. You will be responsible for labor and shipping costs associated with warranty replacements.

Items not covered by warranty

1. Gear or brake adjustments.
2. Any alteration made or aftermarket part installed on bike by customer.
3. Wear and tear to bike, tires or components.
4. Damage as a result of any bike accident
5. Damage attributable to shipping damage
Sales Tax
1. Sales Tax is charged on all sales made to Texas residents or where the item is shipped to Texas.
2. "Texas sales tax residents pay 8.25% sales tax on the total price and you hereby authorize us
to charge or re-charge your credit card for such tax"
3. The sales tax rate is subject to change at any time.

International Shipping and Customs/Duty Taxes

At this time we ship only to Canada and the lower 48 U.S. states. The shopping cart automatically calculates the shipping charges to Canada. In addition, you are responsible for all custom duties and tax. We may sometimes collect the duties and taxes prior to shipment. In those cases you will receive an email of such payment need and you agree to pay such charges prior to shipment. In all cases you agree to pay the duties and custom taxes and should you fail you authorize us to charge your credit card, for all such sums, in the event you fail or refuse to pay such amounts, file suit to collect such amounts, or turn the matter to collections.
Privacy Policy
We may collect certain data about you by the placing of cookies on your computer so that we can monitor your viewing and purchasing patterns. In the check out process we will also collect certain information such as your name, address, phone number, email address and other such information as determined from time to time. We may use this information for statistical purposes or to present you with future offers from us or others which we deem you may have an interest in such products or services.
Cancellations
Please make your selection carefully. Cancellations are only allowed with a 20% cancellation penalty/fee once we have accepted the order.
Back Orders
We make every effort to maintain the site so that current inventory levels are reflected on the site. This is not always possible due to the rapid fluctuations in inventory levels. You should email prior to placing your order to confirm inventory levels and that the bike you want is in stock. If you place the order otherwise you agree to wait up to 45 days for the bicycle to return to stock, accept a substitute of a similar bike, cancel the order using the cancellation policy set forth herein.

Legal Stuff

If any product is subject to federal or state consumer warranty laws, our statement of limited warranty included with the product applies in place of these warranties. Misuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, improper maintenance by you or failure caused by an item for which we are not responsible may void these warranties. This warranty replaces any other warranty, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
